Introduction to Transcendental Meditation

Our certified TM Teacher will ease you into a brief introduction to the technique – It is a tool to aid in developing higher states of consciousness - without years of practice or strenuous rules. His Holiness Maharishi Mahesh Yogi has propounded Transcendental Meditation. He revived the Vedas globally and blended them seamlessly with modern science, which has helped make all fields of life, whether education, administration, art, culture or spirituality, complete in all respects because he has provided how the source of all energy can be connected to all its varied manifestations.

Scientific Research on TM Technique

More than 700 research studies conducted at premier research institutes and universities in 30 countries, including Stanford, Harvard, UCLA and the American National Institutes of Health across fifty years, provide evidence for the numerous benefits that the simple, easy and enjoyable twice-daily practice of Transcendental Meditation confers upon us, across four categories – mental function, physical health, behaviour and world peace. Requirements to learn the technique

In this section of the introductory session, you will be briefed in detail about the structure of the course, requirements and conditions for learning (don’t worry, there aren’t any strict rules, just some guidelines for your convenience and to ensure that you get the maximum benefit out of the course itself). The course is conducted four consecutive days after the introductory session, requiring about two hours daily. Kindly ensure you can take time accordingly before committing to learning Transcendental Meditation.

Preparation for Instruction

This section is the final section of the introductory session, providing a summary of the course, followed by a doubt-clearing session wherein queries will be entertained regarding the session's contents and the course's structure. You will get more information regarding when and where you can come to learn the technique, which is usually a registered Transcendental Meditation Center near you. Kindly note that though this session is online, the technique and the course are taught in person because the requirements of each aspirant are unique, and the TM teachers are trained to address individual needs.
